Description: Community Transport is a bottom-up sector that has a huge impact on people community and devolved policy areas in Wales, with people and volunteers working all year long to provide a lifeline to vital services such as to care, health appointments and social activities. It has a vital role to play across devolved policy fields such as on issues around promoting well-being, a truly integrated transport policy, in providing preventative care and allowing access to work. The list goes on! This event looks to explain the role Community Transport plays and can increasingly play in the future to ensure people in Wales are able to better access services, to live independently for longer, and make for happier and more resilient communities.
Open to the public: Attendance at the event is by invitation only however the Senedd and the Pierhead will remain accessible to the public during our normal opening hours.
