EVENT: Samaritans Wales Impact Report Launch

Description: Samaritans exists to reduce the number of people who die by suicide. In Wales, we work locally and nationally to achieve this through our emotional support service and by reaching out to high-risk groups in our communities. Our branches in Wales respond to a call for help every 3 minutes. During 2017-18, we have developed our policy work on loneliness and isolation, suicidal behaviour and socioeconomic disadvantage and the mental health of children and young people. We have continued to work with communities through our work with schools, the rail industry and in prisons. Our Welsh Language emotional support service has been extended, as has our reach into the South Wales Valleys through an innovative three-year programme. Please join us for our Impact Report launch and help us celebrate our work in Wales.
Open to the public: Attendance at the event is by invitation only however the Senedd and the Pierhead will remain accessible to the public during our normal opening hours.
