Description: Wales is committed to playing its part in eliminating the now curable blood borne virus, hepatitis C (HCV) as part of the UK's goal to eliminate the virus by 2030. Wales has an estimated 12,000 people living with hepatitis C but around half remain undiagnosed. To achieve HCV elimination, it's critical to find those that don't know they have it. AbbVie's drop-in event today will inform Assembly Members of the lesser-known risk factors for HCV through an interactive stand and printed literature. And show your support for the Welsh commitment to eliminate HCV by signing our pledge to raise awareness of the importance of testing.
Open to the public: Attendance at the event is by invitation only however the Senedd and the Pierhead will remain accessible to the public during our normal opening hours.
