Description: St. Dwynwen is a Welsh patron saint of love and is celebrated across Wales on the 25th January. Welsh Women’s Aid will use this day to mark the beginning of our 40th anniversary celebrations, which will run throughout 2018. As part of these celebrations, Welsh Women’s Aid and Jane Hutt AM will partner to host an event at The Pierhead during the afternoon of St Dwynwen’s Day. This event will celebrate the last 40 years of Welsh Women’s Aid – from the opening of Welsh Women’s Aid by Jane Hutt in 1978 to now – with a series of talks and performances from women involved in the movement, then and now.
Open to the public: The event will take place outside our normal opening hours therefore attendance will be by invitation only
