Description: Action on Elder Abuse Cymru would like to invite you to join us at the launch of our bilingual helpline, dedicated to supporting victims of abuse in Wales. Building on the success of our well-established UK-wide Elder Abuse Response Helpline, AEA Cymru is launching a bilingual helpline to expand this invaluable service in Wales. Callers from Wales will be able to receive confidential advice and support from local information officers via our freephone service. Our helpline is available to older people, families and friends as well as professionals who are concerned about harm and abuse of an older person. We are delighted to be launching this event at the Senedd sponsored by Julie Morgan, AM. The event will host a number of speakers who will be highlighting the importance of this service and there will be opportunities to network as well as information stands from supporting organisations. A buffet lunch will be provided
Open to the public: Attendance at the event is by invitation only however the Senedd and the Pierhead will remain accessible to the public during our normal opening hours.
