Description: This WISE (Women in Science, Technology and Engineering) event will mark International Women’s Day by celebrating the fabulous contribution women in Wales are making in the fields of science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM). The event aims to show the excitement, rewards and growing opportunities for women with STEM qualifications and to inspire the next generation of girls. It will also provide an opportunity for education, business and public sector partners to share practical initiatives which are making a difference to the recruitment, retention and advancement of women scientists and engineers in Wales.
Open to the public: Attendance at the event is by invitation only however the Senedd and the Pierhead will remain accessible to the public during our normal opening hours.
