Description: Opening Ceremony of the Cardiff University International Model United Nations Conference 2017. Attracting delegates from the UK and internationally, the third edition of the conference kicks off on the 3rd of March, 2017. This time our committees include Security Council, ECOSOC, UNHCR, UNHRC and even a Crisis Committee. Delegates will take the role of countries in these committees and debate real world topics around the theme of ‘From Political to Humanitarian: Managing Modern Crises’. Open to the public: Attendance at the event is by invitation only however the Senedd and the Pierhead will remain accessible to the public during our normal opening hours.
