Description: Rare Disease Day is an annual event which provides the rare disease community across the world with an opportunity to increase awareness of rare diseases and highlight rare diseases as a public health priority to government and health departments. Since 2009, Rare Disease UK (an initiative of Genetic Alliance UK), the national alliance for people with rare diseases and all who support them, has coordinated awareness raising parliamentary events throughout the UK.
Open to the public: The event will take place outside our normal opening hours therefore attendance will be by invitation only
