<OpeningPara>The Petitions Committee has been set up by
the Senedd to carry out the functions of the responsible committee set out in
Standing Order 23. It considers all admissible petitions submitted to the
Senedd. </OpeningPara>
<OpeningPara>The Committee has four Members who come from
the different party groups represented in the Senedd, and is chaired by Jack

competition to recognise and celebrate the contribution of campaigners in

Senedd’s Petitions website has been updated. For every petition you can now see
a 'heatmap' showing where people have been signing that petition. You can see
maps based on Constituency or Region. We hope this new feature will be useful

Wednesday 16 December, the Senedd agreed to amend Standing Orders relating to
the number of signatures required in order for a
petition to be considered by the Petitions Committee. From January 1 2022, any
petition submitted will need to collect 250 signatures in order to be
