Motion under Standing Order 17.42(ix) to resolve to exclude the public from the remainder of this meeting Minutes: The Co-Chair explained that Professor Rowena Hill and
Richard Pickford from Nottingham Trent University had been commissioned to
produce a gap analysis of the UK Covid-19 Public Inquiry’s Module 1 report. Dr
Simon Williams, has also been appointed as a long-term expert adviser to the
Committee. The academics were attending today’s meeting to provide an update on
civil contingencies as well as an opportunity for Members to ask questions and
shape the direction of their work in preparing the gap analysis which will
assist the Committee in its evidence gathering to identify potential gaps that
require further consideration. As this session related to internal committee business the
Co-Chair proposed that the item was held in private session. The motion was agreed. |
