Discussion and Next Steps Supporting documents:
Minutes: The Committee considered a briefing outlining options around expert advisors and academics to support the work of the Committee. Members discussed options of next steps it could take prior to the UK Covid Inquiry publishing its report on its Module 1 in early summer 2024. The Committee agreed to next meet in early 2024 with academics and experts to take advise on relevant issues arising from the UK Covid Inquiry modules. The Committee will also receive a briefing on the civil contingencies framework in Wales to assist our understanding of this area. These meetings will be conducted in public. Members also agreed to publish a statement of intent in the interim, in order to outline the Committee’s planned work. |
