Introductions, apologies, substitutions and declarations of interest

Minutes:

1.1 The Chair welcomed Members to the meeting of the Culture, Communications, Language, Sport and International Relations Committee.

 

1.2 In accordance with Standing Order 34.19, the Chair determined that the public were excluded from the Committee’s meeting in order to protect public health but that the meeting would be broadcast live on www.senedd.tv.

 

1.3 The Chair stated that if for any reason she dropped out of the meeting, the Committee had agreed that Heledd Fychan MS would become Temporary Chair in accordance with Standing Order 17.22.

 

1.4 In accordance with Standing Order 17.24A, Heledd Fychan MS, Carolyn Thomas MS and Tom Giffard made declarations of relevant interests:

 

Heledd Fychan MS declared the following interests: she is a councillor on Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council; she is a governor at Ysgol Gynradd Cymraeg Evan James and she supported the judicial review of the reorganisation of schools in Pontypridd.

 

Carolyn Thomas MS declared that she is a councillor in Flintshire County Council

 

Tom Giffard MS declared that he is a councillor in Bridgend County Council
