Introductions, apologies, substitutions and declarations of interest

Minutes:

1.1 The Chair welcomed Members to the meeting of the Children, Young People and Education Committee, there were no apologies.

1.2 The Chair also welcomed Delyth Jewell MS, Alun Davies MS, Heledd Fychan MS, Laura Jones MS, Carolyn Thomas MS and Lee Waters MS from the Culture, Communications, Welsh Language, Sport and International Relations Committee who joined the meeting under Standing Order 17.49 for the technical briefing on the Welsh Language and Education (Wales) Bill.

1.3 The Chair thanked Heledd Fychan MS for all her hard work on the Committee and welcomed Cefin Campbell MS to the Committee.

1.4 Under Standing Order 17.24A Cefin Cambell MS declared an interest as he was part of the development of Welsh Language and Education (Wales) Bill.
