  • Motion to elect a Member to a committee (5 mins)

  • Plenary is unlikely to run past 6.55pm.

4.1

The Health Service Procurement (Wales) Bill - timetable

Minutes:

Business Committee agreed to refer the Bill to the Health and Social Care Committee for consideration of the general principles. Business Committee agreed to defer a decision on the timetable for the Bill, including the Government’s request for a shortened period for Stage 1 scrutiny, in order to consult the Health and Social Care Committee and to return to the matter at a future meeting. 

 

4.2

Correspondence from the Counsel General and Minister for the Constitution regarding the Retained EU Law (Revocation and Reform) Bill

Minutes:

Business Committee noted the letter regarding the current status of the Retained EU Law (Revocation and Reform) Bill and the Government’s intention to bring forward a further Supplementary LCM containing all relevant amendments tabled for Report Stage in the House of Commons.

Use of 30-minute debates in opposition time

Minutes:

Business Committee considered current practice around the scheduling of debates in opposition time and agreed to consult with groups before returning to the issue at the following meeting.
