Update on current Legislative Consent Memorandums Minutes: Business Committee agreed
that committees could be invited to report on the LCMs for the Leasehold Reform
(Ground Rents) Bill, the Armed Forces Bill and the Police, Crime, Sentencing
and Courts Bill following the summer recess, and that they would take a formal
decision on referral and reporting deadlines once committees had been
established. |

Any Other Business Proxy
Voting The
Llywydd informed the Committee that Adam Price has asked to have a proxy vote
for parental absence cast on his behalf for a two week period starting today.
The nominated proxy is Siân Gwenllian. The Llywydd is satisfied that he meets
the requirements for a proxy vote under the Standing Orders and guidance, and
will lay the required certificate today. Business
Managers also agreed to amend the temporary guidance to allow for further
discretion for the Llywydd over the maximum duration that a proxy vote can be
cast. The
Health Protection (Coronavirus Restrictions) (No. 5) (Wales) (Amendment) (No.
11) Regulations 2021 The
Trefnydd informed Business Managers that these regulations are scheduled for
debate on 15 June. Business Committee agreed to set a reporting deadline of 14
June for the Interim Subordinate Legislation Committee. |
