Minutes:

The Chair welcomed everyone to the meeting and thanked staff at Ysgol Gymraeg Bro Dur for their hospitality and assistance in organising the meeting, and the pupils for their engagement and proposing questions for the First Minister.

The Committee scrutinised the First Minister on the Welsh Government’s actions to tackle climate change following it’s declaration of a Climate Emergency.

Ministerial Scrutiny Session - Topical Matters

Members asked the First Minister questions on topical matters.

 

The First Minister agreed to provide further information about a delay in issuing new bus passes to older people in Wales

Discussion of previous evidence session

Minutes:

The Committee discussed the evidence from the previous sessions and agreed to write to the First Minister to seek further information about a number of issues, including the availability of fast chargers for electric vehicles and how the Welsh Governments budget-setting process plays a role in delivering decarbonisation.
