The Trefnydd drew Business Managers’ attention to various additions to This Week’s Business, including two suspensions of Standing Orders to allow some items to take place:

·         Motion to suspend Standing Orders (5 mins)

·         Proposal under Standing Order 12.24 to debate the following together but with separate votes: (30 minutes)

·         The Health Protection (Coronavirus Restrictions) (No. 5) (Wales) (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations 2020

The time for the budget debate would be reduced from 90 minutes to 60 minutes, and individual timings for Members and the Minister adjusted accordingly.

 

Business Managers noted that the Independent Alliance for Reform Group debate had been postponed until next week.

Minutes:

Business Committee agreed that whilst Plenary meetings remain virtual, all Wednesday afternoon debates will be 30 minutes long, unless the Chair makes the case for a 60 minute debate. For this period, all contributions from Members other than those opening or closing will be 3 minutes rather than 5.
