Agenda and minutes

1.1 There were no apologies or substitutions for the meeting.  The Chair welcomed Eluned Parrott to her first meeting of the Enterprise and Business Committee.

2.1 The Chair welcomed the Minister for Housing, Regeneration and Heritage and his officials to the meeting. Members questioned the witnesses.

·         Alun Davies, Deputy Minister for Agriculture, Food, Fisheries and European Programmes

·         Damien O'Brien, WEFO Director

·         Jane McMillan, Acting Director Programme Management and Finance Division, WEFO 

3.1 The Chair welcomed the Deputy Minister for Agriculture, Food, Fisheries, and European Programmes and his officials to the meeting.  Members questioned the Minister.

3.2 The Minister agreed to write to the Committee with:

·         Further information on the success of European Funding projects

·         Further information and data on how many people and companies have benefited from the European funding.

·         Edwina Hart, Minister for Business, Enterprise, Technology and Science

4.1 The Chair welcomed the Minister for Business, Enterprise, Technology and Science, and her officials to the meeting. Members questioned the Minister.

4.2 The Minister agreed to write to the Committee concerning the differences between regeneration and economic renewal following comments made by the Minister for Housing, Regeneration and Heritage in the earlier session.

4.3 The Committee agreed to write to the Minister with questions not reached in the session.
