The Committee noted the Business Committee’s decision in principle to refer the
Bill to the Health and Social Care Committee for Stage 1 and Stage 2 scrutiny
and agreed to write to the Business Committee to indicate that it had
significant concerns about the proposed timetable and the pressure it would
place on its workload. 10.2
The Committee also agreed to ask the Business Committee to extend the proposed
deadline for Stage 1 scrutiny of the Bill by two weeks to accommodate other
work commitments. |
