Agenda and minutes

1.1 There were no apologies or substitutions.  

2.1 William Graham nominated Rhodri Glyn Thomas as the Committee’s nomination for the Welsh Language Commissioner selection panel. The nomination was seconded by Joyce Watson and ratified by the Committee.

2.2 The Chair said she would write to the Minister for Education and Skills to notify him of the nomination.

3.1 The Committee agreed in principle, to set up a broadcasting task and finish group. The terms of reference, membership and duration of the group would be agreed by the Committee following the recess.

3.2 The Committee agreed to conduct two pieces of work on disability hate crime and community safety at the beginning of the autumn term.

4.1 The Committee noted the papers.

4.2 The Chair said that a schedule of meeting dates would be circulated to Members.

4.3 The Chair noted that the next meeting would be on Wednesday 21 September.
