2.1 The witnesses responded to questions from members of the Committee on marine policy in Wales.

 

2.2 The BMAPA agreed to provide copies of any consultation representations BMAPA made to Welsh Government in relation to the Single Environment Body and also levels of resourcing for the marine function.

 

2.3 The Welsh Fisherman’s Association expressed concern about the percentage figures used to describe the condition of existing Marine Protected Areas (MPAs) by some organisations in their consultation responses. The Welsh Fisherman’s Association agreed to provide the Committee with a written note to explain its concerns.
