1.   The Chair welcomed everyone to the meeting. There were no apologies.

2. The Chair welcomed Children are Unbeatable! Wales to the meeting. Members questioned the witnesses.

 

Action point

The witnesses agreed to provide answers to the questions not reached during the meeting and to provide additional information on the following issues:

 

1.   The percentage of calls to Childline that relate to physical punishment.

2.   Evidence on how other countries (eg New Zealand, Sweden) that have changed the law regarding physical punishment implement that law.
