1.1 The Chair welcomed everyone to the meeting. Apologies were received by Angela Burns. There were not substitutions.

2.1 The Chair welcomed the Minister for Health and Social Services and her officials to the meeting. Members questioned the witnesses.

 

Action points

The Minister agreed to provide information on the question regarding whether Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board is including the names of nursing staff who have been suspended or are on long-term sick leave on rotas.

 

The Minister agreed to provide an update on the outcomes of the neonatal parent and community service programme.

Action points

The witnesses agreed to provide the medical and nursing staff figures for Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board for July 2012.

 

The witnesses agreed to provide the latest birth-rate figures for Cardiff and the Vale University Health Board.
