The Committee considered correspondence on the petitions and agreed to:

 

  • close the Tenby Minor Injuries Unit petition, but to write to Hywel Dda Health Board seeking clarification on the new service provision in relation to the need to be registered with a GP;
  • seek the petitioner’s views following the Minister’s statement on the neonatal unit at Glangwili; and
  • at the petitioner’s suggestion defer further consideration of the Save our Services petition until the outcome of the judicial review.

The Committee considered correspondence on the petition and agreed to seek the views of Cardiff City Council on the proposals and participation model outlined by Tennis Wales and whether they would be prepared to consider working with Tennis Wales in the way suggested in their letter to the Committee.  Committee Members also indicated that they would, if neccesary, be available to facilitate a meeting with Swansea Tennis Centre.

The Committee considered correspondence on the petition.  Although the Brecon Beacons National Park (BBNP) Committee were scheduled to consider local listing of the site on 7 February, it was understood that this had now been deferred by a month.  The Committee agreed to write to BBNP asking for an update on the position.
