Debate on Together for Health – Six Month Progress Report NDM4981 Jane Hutt (Vale of Glamorgan) To propose that the National Assembly for Wales: Notes progress in implementing "Together for Health".
The following amendments have
been tabled: Insert at end of motion: "and calls on the Welsh Government to: a) demonstrate full accountability for the NHS; and b) clearly outline the financial and clinical reasons for any hospital
reconfiguration proposals. Amendment 2 - William Graham (South Wales East) Add as new point at end of motion: Notes that the Welsh Government's 'Together for Health' agenda includes
plans to reduce the number of hospital sites providing 24/7 consultant-led
accident and emergency services. Amendment 3 - William Graham (South Wales East) Add as new point at end of motion: Recognises the cross-party consensus
against the downgrading of local hospitals and health services across Wales. Amendment 4 - Peter Black (South Wales West) Add as new point at end of motion: Calls on the Welsh Government to provide full details of any proposed
changes to NHS service delivery as a result of “Together for Health” at the

Debate on The Welsh Government's Active Travel Policy NDM4982 Jane Hutt (Vale of Glamorgan) To propose that the National Assembly for Wales: Considers the Welsh Government's active travel policies and the potential
of active travel to tackle poverty, improve public health and reduce greenhouse
gas emissions.
The following amendments have
been tabled: Add as new point at end of motion: Notes with concern that Wales is currently not on course to meet key
targets defined in the Welsh Governments Walking and Cycling Action Plan. Amendment 2 - William Graham (South Wales East) Add as new point at end of motion: Notes the comments made by the Climate Change Commission for Wales in its
First Annual Report that the Government has made uncertain progress in
encouraging behavioural change for smarter choices of
travel.
Amendment 3 - William Graham (South Wales East) Add as new point at end of motion: Calls on the Welsh Government to publish an annual report on the cumulative
impact of its active travel initiatives on greenhouse gas emissions in Wales. Amendment 4 - Peter Black (South Wales West) Add as new point at end of motion: Calls on the Welsh Government to ensure that local pedestrian and cycle
routes are linked to each other and other transport hubs to create viable
regional and national routes. Amendment 5 - Peter Black (South Wales West) Add as new point at end of motion: Believes all major planning developments should be required to take into
