Welcomes the introduction of the Youth Contract by the UK Government which includes voluntary work experience placements for young people in Wales, and welcomes the Welsh Government’s additional financial support for the Young Recruits Programme.

Notes that unemployment in Wales remains the highest of all the UK nations.
