This Week's Business Minutes: The Minister for Finance and Government Business
updated the Committee on changes to Government Business on Tuesday. Business Managers noted that the Minister for Public
Services would be answering questions before the Minister for Finance and
Government Business on Wednesday. Members had already been informed via the
agenda. Business Committee noted that there would be no Voting
Time on Tuesday. On Wednesday, Business Committee agreed that Voting Time would
take place before the Short Debate. |

Legislative Consent Motions: UK legislative programme 2015/2016 Minutes: The Business Committee noted a paper providing an
update on the progression of all Bills, both those in draft and those not,
announced in the Queen’s Speech, for the first Parliamentary session. Business
Managers commented on the usefulness of the document. |

Enterprise and Business Committee: Request to visit Dublin Minutes: Business Managers agreed a request from the Enterprise
and Business Committee to visit Dublin on Thursday 1 October 2015. |

Business Committee Legacy for Fifth Assembly Minutes: Business Managers were invited to consider a proposed
approach to Business Committee legacy work and invited to consider possible
approaches to consultation. Business
Managers agreed the general approach to the report and agreed that any
consultation would be done by way of paper correspondence. The
Committee agreed to return to the matter at a future meeting to discuss a more
detailed work plan. |

Budget Timetable |
|
Timetable for the 2016-17 Budget Minutes: Business Managers noted a response from the Finance
Committee and a letter from the Minister for Finance and Government Business
regarding the timetable for the 2016-17 budget. The Minister informed Business Managers that she would
be meeting with the Chair of the Finance Committee and would bring a revised
timetable to the Business Committee as soon as possible. |

Any Other Business The Presiding Officer reminded Business Managers that
the new rules on oral declarations came into force on 1 September and would be
applicable in proceedings from now on. The Presiding Officer also informed
Business Managers that drop-in sessions had been organised by the Registrar of
Members’ Interests and would be held in the Clerk’s room in the Senedd during
Plenary over the next three weeks. |
