This Week's Business Minutes: The Minister for Finance and Government Business
updated the Committee on changes to Government Business on Tuesday. Business Committee agreed to postpone William Powell’s
Short Debate until Tuesday 7 July. Business Managers noted a paper on the arrangements
for the Secretary of State’s attendance at Plenary on Wednesday, as part of the
debate on the UK Government’s legislative programme (Queen’s Speech). Business Committee noted that there would be no Voting
Time on Tuesday. On Wednesday, the Business Committee agreed that
voting on the Queen’s Speech debate would be taken at the end of the item and
voting on the Welsh Liberal Democrats Debate would also be taken at the end of
that item. |

Three week timetable of Government Business Minutes: Business Committee noted the 3 Week Timetable of
Government Business. |

Three week timetable of Assembly Business Minutes: Due to a Srebrenica Memorial Service, being jointly hosted in the Senedd
by the Deputy Presiding Officer and the First Minister, Business Managers
agreed to re-schedule the debate on the Annual Compliance Report on the
Assembly Commission’s Official Languages Scheme from Wednesday 8 July to
Wednesday 15 July. Business Committee determined the
organisation of business and agreed to re-schedule the following items of

Tax Collection and Management (Wales) Bill Minutes: Business Managers agreed in
principle to refer the Tax Collection and Management (Wales) Bill to the
Finance Committee for Stage 1 consideration. Business Managers agreed to
defer a decision on the Bill’s timetable until a future meeting to allow for
consultation with the Finance Committee. |

Any Other Business Following changes to Standing Order 22, the Presiding
Officer reminded Members to submit nominations to elect an alternate member
from the same political group for each member of the Standards of Conduct
Committee. |
