The minutes were noted by the Committee for publication.

The Minister for Finance and Government Business updated the Committee on changes to Government Business on Wednesday.

Business Managers noted that there would be no Voting Time.

All votes in relation to the Planning (Wales) Bill would take place during Stage 3 proceedings.

The Presiding Officer informed Business Managers that she intended to suspend proceeding for a ten minute break before Stage 3 proceedings begin.

Business Committee noted the 3 Week Timetable of Government Business.

Business Committee determined the organisation of business and agreed to schedule the following items of business:

Wednesday 3 June 2015 –

·         Stage 1 Debate on the Safe Nurse Staffing Levels (Wales) Bill (60 mins)

·         Time allocated to the Welsh Conservatives (60 mins)

·         Time allocated to the Welsh Liberal Democrats (60 mins)

Business Committee agreed to re-schedule the following item of business

Wednesday 13 May 2015 –

·         Debate by Individual Members under Standing Order 11.21(iv) (60 mins) - No Motions tabled

·         Time allocated to Plaid Cymru (60 mins)

Wednesday 20 May 2015 –

·         Time allocated to Plaid Cymru (60 mins)

·         Time allocated to the Welsh Conservatives (60 mins)

There were no motions tabled by individual Members for debate on 13 May.

Business Managers considered that the lack of interest on this occasion was more than likely a one-off, especially as there have been eight Individual Member Debates scheduled over the past five months, as opposed to the one each half term which has been previous practice. Business Managers agreed that the next individual Member debate should be on Wednesday 8 July 2015.

Business Managers confirmed their in principle decision of 21 April to refer the Historic Environment (Wales) Bill to the Communities, Equality and Local Government Committee for Stage 1 consideration, and agreed the deadline for the Stage 1 Committee to report by as 9 October 2015 and the deadline for the completion of Stage 2 Committee proceedings as 10 December 2015.

Business Managers agreed a request from the Public Accounts Committee to visit Edinburgh to attend a meeting of the Public Audit Committee of the Scottish Parliament on Tuesday 9 June – Wednesday 10 June 2015.
