The Legislative Programme Minutes: The Business Committee noted a paper from the government regarding the timetabling and handling of the legislative programme and actions the Welsh Government will undertake to provide a transparent and consistent approach across each Government Bill. |

Legislative Consent Motions for Bills in the 2012-13 Parliamentary Session Minutes: The Business Committee noted a paper from the government
regarding Legislative Consent Motions (LCMs) for Bills which will be introduced
into Parliament during the forthcoming session (May 2012 – May 2013) and
setting out how the Leader of the House intended to approach these to ensure
appropriate scrutiny of LCMs. The Business Committee noted that they would give further consideration to the processes for proper scrutiny of LCMs once the Constitutional and Legislative Affairs Committee has reported on its inquiry. |

Other Business Following the discussion at the last meeting, Jocelyn Davies raised again whether a committee to scrutinise the First Minister would be established. The Presiding Officer agreed to re-circulate the briefing on committee scrutiny of the First Minister. Business Managers reiterated the importance of considering this as part of the 12 month review of the Committee structure in the summer term. |
