Motion to approve the Assembly Commission's Budget 2015/16

To propose that the National Assembly for Wales in accordance with Standing Order 20.16:

 

Agrees the budget of the Assembly Commission for  2015-16, as specified in Table 1 of the "National Assembly for Wales Assembly Commission Budget 2015-16", laid before the Assembly on 12 November 2014 and that it be incorporated in the Annual Budget Motion under Standing Order 20.26 (ii).

Agrees the budget of the Assembly Commission for  2015-16, as specified in Table 1 of the "National Assembly for Wales Assembly Commission Budget 2015-16", laid before the Assembly on 12 November 2014 and that it be incorporated in the Annual Budget Motion under Standing Order 20.26 (ii).

 

The motion was agreed in accordance with Standing Order 12.36.

To propose that the National Assembly for Wales in accordance with Standing Order 20.16:

The motion was agreed in accordance with Standing Order 12.36.

Draft budget 2013-14

Minutes:

The Commission is required under Standing Orders to lay its draft budget annually by 1 October.  The Commission’s draft budget for 2013-14 sets out the financial resources required to deliver the Assembly Services’ priority work as well as the budget required to fund the Remuneration Board’s Determination for Assembly Members. 

 

The Commission agreed its draft budget, and requested that it be laid in accordance with Standing Orders.  Angela Burns AM, Commissioner with responsibility for resources, will attend a meeting of the Finance Committee on 3 October 2012 to be scrutinised on the draft budget.

Commissioners thanked officials for their work to date on the draft budget.

 

It was agreed that the paper would not be published as the draft budget would be laid the next day.

 

Action: Officials to lay the draft budget 2013-14 document before the Assembly on the 28 September 2012


Meeting: 12/07/2012 - Senedd Commission (Item 2)

Draft budget 2013-14

Paper 2

Minutes:

Commissioners confirmed again their commitment to working within the 2013-14 indicative funding set out in the previous year’s budget document.

The Commission is due to agree the budget at its meeting on 27 September, before it is laid before the Assembly on 28 September.

Commissioners commented on the working document and thanked officials for their ongoing work on the 2013-14 budget.

Actions: Officials will continue to work on the budget document over the summer recess, incorporating the issues discussed at the meeting.
