The Committee agreed:

To write to the University Health Board seeking clarification regarding future meetings;

Write to Cardiff Council summing up the deliberations of the Committee and recommending that the Council continues to work with the petitioners to resolve the parking issues;

Pending these letters, the Committee agreed to close the petition (bar the usual correspondence with the petitioner setting out the reasons for closure), once clarification has been sought.

Joyce Watson declared an interest in that her daughter works at University Hospital of Wales.

 

The Minister answered questions from the Committee on this issue.

Due to time constraints, the Committee decided to consider the Minister’s evidence at its next meeting in order to give full consideration to all three petitions.

The Chair told Committee that the petitioner had asked for further consideration of this petition to be deferred, as he had requested a meeting with the First Minister and his local Assembly Member on the subject.
