Minutes:
4.1 The Committee took evidence from Edwina Hart AM, Minister
for Economy, Science and Transport, Welsh Government; Professor Andrew Davies,
Chair of the Welsh Co-operative and Mutuals Commission and Derek Walker, Chief
Executive Officer of the Wales Co-operative Centre.
4.2 The Minister agreed to provide the performance indicators
for the Welsh Government’s support for social enterprises in the six-month
update to the Committee.

Minutes:
4.1 The Chair welcomed Edwina Hart, Minister for Business, Enterprise, Technology and Science - Karyn Pittick, Head of Social Enterprise Unit, Welsh Government and Duncan Hamer, Head of Entrepreneurship and Sector Operations, Welsh Government. Members questioned the Minister and her officials on Social Enterprises.
Action Point:
During the meeting the Minister for Business, Enterprise, Technology and Science agreed to provide the Committee with the following information:
· an update on the Communities investment fund and how it is working at the moment;
· share the terms of reference with the Committee in relation to the delivery of Public Services, once established by the Commission.

Minutes:
2.1 The Chair welcomed Lis Burnett who was expert advisor to the former Enterprise and Learning Committee and is Head of the University of Glamorgan’s Social Entrepreneurship Hub. Members received an update on the report and asked questions.
2.2 The Committee agreed to carry out some further work on Social Enterprises.
