4.1 The Chair welcomed the Minister for Communities and Tackling Poverty and Martin Swain to the meeting. Members questioned the witnesses.
Action Points
The Minister agreed to provide:
(i) examples of where CRIAs have had an effect on specific legislation or policy or informed Cabinet discussions, which has led to positive changes;
(ii) up-to-date information on the various types of training provided on the UNCRC and the number of staff who have completed that training; and
(iii) a note on the input of stakeholders with regard to ‘The Getting It Right Update 2013’.
