3.1        The Committee scrutinised the Minister for Economy, Science and Transport.

3.2        The Minister agreed to provide information on SMEs that have benefited from and qualified for the Business Rates Scheme, for each Enterprise Zone.

3.3        The Minister agreed to provide information on examples of good practice in terms of small business rates relief in Northern Ireland and any useful data derived from this.

3.4        The Minister agreed to provide information on any economic assessments the Welsh Government has made and the benefits which have come as a result of temporary schemes, including the Enterprise zone and Murco business rates schemes.

3.5        The Minister agreed to provide details of developments in terms of business rates for self-catering properties and an executive summary of the study to which the Minister referred.
