Minutes:
The proposed changes to Standing Orders were agreed, subject
to some minor amendments.
The Llywydd noted the need to undertake an editorial review of Standing Orders towards the end of the Business Committee’s procedural work programme, given the number of changes that are likely to be proposed to Standing Orders.

Minutes:
Business Committee
noted a response from the Standards of Conduct Committee regarding potential
changes to Standing Orders for the Seventh Senedd in relation to categories of
Members. Business Committee agreed to return to consider final proposals to amend
Standing Orders at a later date, in light of other potential amendments and any
recommendations or conclusions made by the Future Senedd Committee.

Minutes:
The Business Committee noted the
requirement for the Sixth Senedd to agree changes to Standing Orders relating to
categories of Member that will take effect at the start of the Seventh Senedd,
which reflect the change to the Senedd’s electoral system.
The Committee agreed to write to the
Standards of Conduct Committee to ask that it reviews the relevant Standing
Orders and presents recommendations, to assist the Business Committee in
considering the specific changes which may be required.
