Minutes:
The Committee considered the petition and noted that the Minister’s response was clear that he does not intend to introduce payments, Members therefore agreed that there was little further they could do on this issue and agreed to thank the petitioner and close the petition. It was noted that this may be an area which individual Members may choose to continue highlighting.

report recently published by Qualification Wales.

- ask Qualifications Wales
to clarify why the research report on this issue is being delayed until
May; and
- wait for the publication
of the research report by Qualifications Wales to have a clearer overview
of the experiences of teachers across Wales, before deciding what further
action can be taken

Minutes:
The Committee acknowledged the dedication and hard work of
teachers across Wales who worked tirelessly to ensure children continued to
access education.
Members noted that the Minister doesn’t offer any additional financial recognition and agreed to write to Qualifications Wales to ask about the findings of the survey about the grade setting period.
