Minutes:
The Committee considered the petition for the first time and agreed that there was little further action that could take at this time due to the fact that the petitioner has no further comments and the Welsh Government does not have a role in setting tuition fee rates, other than establishing a maximum. The Committee agreed to advise the petitioner that this issue could be a focus for the students’ union movement going forward and closed the petition.
