following relevant interest under Standing Order 17.24A:
He has met the petitioners.
The Committee considered the correspondence
received and, in light of the Welsh Government’s decision not to withdraw its
application, agreed to maintain a watching brief over the next steps of the
planning process and ask its successor Committee to review the petition at an
appropriate time.

Minutes:
The Committee agreed to write back to the Minister for Finance to share the further detailed concerns raised by the petitioner and ask for these to be considered by the Welsh Government in relation to the development, and seek a response to the specific points raised by the petitioner.
Members also agreed to ask how the Welsh Government seeks to balance the competing interests of protecting the environment and developing additional housing, including affordable properties.
