Debate on a Member's Legislative Proposal - Electric Vehicle Charge Points

To propose that the National Assembly for
Wales:
1. Notes a proposal for a Bill which
requires all new-build homes to be fitted with at least one electric car charge
point.
2. Notes that the purpose of this Bill
would be to ensure that:
a) every new residential building with an
associated car parking space has an electric charging point installed;
b) every residential building that is new
or undergoing major renovation, with more than 10 car parking spaces, has cable
routes for electric vehicle charge points in at least 50 percent of the total
parking spaces.
