1 Inquiry into Education Otherwise than at School - engagement activities

As part of its inquiry into Education Otherwise than at School, the Committee will undertake visits across Wales.

Members will have an opportunity to talk directly with pupils and parents to gain an understanding of their experiences of education outside their mainstream school.

in Caernarfon. They discussed their experiences of education outside of mainstream school.

6.1 The Committee considered the approach to evidence gathering. Members agreed to visit three PRU/provider of education services otherwise than at school to speak with young people, staff and parents/carers.

6.2 The Committee agreed the schedule of witnesses for oral evidence sessions, to start in January 2020.
