7.1 The Committee discussed the evidence received under item 5.

4.1 The Committee considered and agreed the approach to scrutiny of the Wild Animals and Circuses (Wales) Bill.

Business Managers agreed the timetable for the Bill and noted the comments in the letter relating to other potential Bills.

6.1 The Committee agreed the proposed timetable for consideration of the Wild Animals and Circuses (Wales) Bill. It was agreed that the Chair would write to the Business Committee on this matter.

6.2 The Committee agreed to invite the Minister for Environment, Energy and Rural Affairs to its meeting on Thursday 18 July 2019 to give evidence in connection with the Bill.  This is subject to the Bill being introduced by that date.

Business Managers agreed in principle to refer the Bill to the Climate Change Environment and Rural Affairs Committee to consider its general principles, and to write to the committee to consult on the proposed timetable.
