To propose that the National Assembly for
Wales:
1. Notes the publication of the feasibility
studies on a “National Contemporary Art Gallery Wales Feasibility Study” and “A
Sport Museum for Wales Feasibility Study”.
2. Welcomes the analysis and recommendations
in both reports, together with the opportunities and challenges they present.
3. Recognises that further work is required
before decisions on future action is taken.

The following
amendments have been tabled:
Amendment 1 - Darren
Millar (Clwyd West)
Deletes points 2 and 3 and replace with:
Acknowledges the value of the analysis
provided in the two reports as a basis for extensive public engagement.
Welcomes the recommendations for expert
panels to improve the recognition and protection of Wales's sporting and
artistic heritage.
Believes that decisions on future action must
reflect the ambition to create something fresh and world leading.

Insert as new point after point 2:
Welcomes the recommendation that a National
Football Museum should be established in Wrexham.

implementing the core recommendations of the report, 'National Contemporary Art
Gallery Wales - Feasibility Study', in their entirety, including building a
