The Committee noted the letter from the Cabinet Secretary for Education and agreed to write again to seek further clarification on how Article 12 of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child has been taken into account as part of the impact assessment.

The Committee considered the Code and was content. The Committee agreed to write to the Cabinet Secretary for Education to ask for information on how the Welsh Ministers had regard to the requirements of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (in accordance with section 1 of the Rights of Children and Young Persons (Wales) Measure 2011.
