To propose that the National Assembly for Wales:
Notes the annual report for 2016-17 of Her Majesty’s Chief Inspector of
Education and Training in Wales.
A copy of the report was laid in the Table Office on 25 January 2018.

Notes
that the Chief Inspector notes in the report that "improving the
curriculum and the learning experiences of pupils goes hand in hand with
improving the quality of teaching. Improving teaching requires better support,
professional learning and staff development for current teachers as well as
improved recruitment and initial education and training".
