To propose that
the National Assembly for Wales:
1. Recognises the
importance of good mental health.
2. Regrets that some
people with mental health conditions face injustices and challenges when
accessing services.
3. Calls on the
Welsh Government to ensure that Wales’s health and social care sectors are able
to deliver effective, preventative mental health services.

Add as new point
at end of motion:
Ensures that
children who require treatment for mental health receive it promptly before
their condition gets worse and that the Welsh Government publishes statistics
on performance against this objective.
