To
propose that the National Assembly for Wales:
1.
Recognises that secure housing, healthcare, education, and being safe at home,
safe at school and in the community builds the foundation for a child's healthy
development;
2.
Notes the importance of a long term vision for Child Health, which promotes
health and well-being from birth.
3.
Calls on the Welsh Government to improve data collection and the understanding
of child health in Wales by:
a)
extending cancer experience surveys to collect data for under 16s;
b)
conducting research into peer bullying; and
c)
re-evaluating perinatal mental health support to ensure consistency across
Wales for vulnerable families.
The following amendments
have been tabled:

to provide secure housing for children.'

how schools can help to create environments to tackle obesity;
