Minutes:
Business Managers considered draft guidance to be
issued to Members prior to the introduction of ’90 second statements’ and
agreed for the guidance to be circulated to Members subject to some revisions.
The Committee agreed to schedule the first of such
statements on Wednesday 2 November.

Minutes:
Business Managers discussed a paper on introducing a
new procedure for Members to make short statements in Plenary and agreed to
introduce this procedure after October half term. In the meantime, Business
Managers requested that guidance be made available for Members setting out the
new procedure.
