The Committee noted that the Climate Change, Environment and Rural Affairs Committee is holding a scrutiny session on the use of snares on 30 November 2016.

 

The Committee agreed to await an update following the scrutiny session and consider the petition at a future meeting, alongside an expected update from the Cabinet Secretary for Environment and Rural Affairs.
