2.3 Claire Moggridge agreed to provide the following:

·         Details on the number of taxis operating in Cardiff, and any training provided to deal with large events.

·         Comments on whether devolution of taxi and private hire regulation could address issues related to transport provision during large scale events in Cardiff.

·         Comments regarding whether the response of taxi drivers to the serious sexual assaults in September was adequate, particularly the suggestions that drivers continued to refuse to carry women on short journeys.
